Summary
Sam, Dean, and Cas get a call sending them to a hotel in Indianapolis where whole parties of people have been going missing without a trace. The three check into the hotel and Cas, on a whim, decides to playact like he and Dean are married, but when the whole hotel staff rallies behind "fixing their failing marriage" things get a little out of hand. The fallout brings a lot of buried feelings to the surface, and their ability to get their shit together might just end up being a matter of life or death.

Summary
And then his hand slides down, fingers skimming over Dean’s stomach, and Dean sucks in a breath when he feels the smallest brush of grace. It’s warm, like standing under the sun during spring, and it’s reaching for something, but Dean doesn’t know what. He looks up when he hears Jack’s soft gasp, and he’s surprised to see an expression of awe on his face.
“There,” he breathes. “I feel her.”

(Dean and Cas had a night together before he died, and it resulted in a baby. Amidst his grief and complicated feelings about his parents, Dean realizes, more than anything, that he wants to have this baby. Cas' baby. Even with the promise of death on his heels, Dean moves forward with the pregnancy.

Dean snaps his head up. "You what now?"
"My solution," Cas says carefully, "is that instead of showing each other violence, we show each other... the opposite."
“The opposite,” Dean says. “Like…”
“Sex.”
Dean sucks in a breath. "Oh," he squeaks out.

Summary
The public library is a lovely old building with plenty of parking and just enough space around it for some narrow lawns and a few trees. Dean’s spent plenty of time sitting outside staring at it through Baby’s windscreen, and that means he’s very familiar with the fancy yellow stonework. Today there’s something different though, a poster fills the glass of one of the front doors; bright craft paper with a really big lizard drawn on it. The lizard is actually pretty cool, all bright colors and stuff. There’s a cartoon speech bubble coming out of it’s mouth that says, “come and meet me today!”
For all the time Dean’s spent over the years, sitting in Baby and waiting on Sammy...he’s never actually been in.
Apparently today’s the day though, because if they’ve got lizards and stuff you bet your ass Dean wants to go in and have a look. Hopefully there’s snakes too.

Summary
What does John see when he looks at Cas?
Cas doesn’t look like a monster.
But neither does Dean.
John stands, slow. He holds out a hand. Calloused like Dean’s hands are calloused. Scarred the same way that Dean’s hands are scarred. There’s the smell of him in the air too. Earthy and dark, slightly sour around the edges. The room feels suddenly choked with it. Claustrophobic.
Cas probably smells like the fabric softener they buy in bulk at Costco, but so does Dean so he can’t tell.
John says, toneless, “I hear you’ve been driving my car.”

The closer you are to what you want—
Dean's twenty-nine year old mother, his undefined relationship with Cas and their small family. Some kind of impossible reconciliation with John Winchester. Michael, out of his head, without destroying the world. His father's approval. To see the Grand Canyon.
