Izuku has a secret no one at UA knows, except Kacchan: he's an orphan. His mom died 4 years ago, and with her, his last trusted adult. How will he get through UA without anyone finding out, and, more importantly, how will he get through hiding how much he sees Aizawa as a father? And all of that becomes much harder when he gets sick, and Aizawa has to take care of him.

Later, when he’s tucked into bed with his husband, Shouta will think back to how close he came to ignoring the call. Later, that thought will drive him out of bed and into the bathroom to throw up. Later, Hizashi will have to soothe him, run slender fingers through his tangled hair, and remind him that everything turned out alright.

Summary
Izuku was so close to breaking his record for 'the longest amount of time he'd gone without a villain encounter.' He couldn't just make it two more weeks? And, worse than that (or better, perhaps, in the grand scheme of things,) they manage to jump start his heat, of all things, and the media found out.
His only option was, of course, to prove the world wrong. What better way to do it than confronting their expectations of him?

Summary
Izuku doesn't think he had much of a childhood. He didn't have friends, or a Dad, or a Quirk, and somewhere within that mix he lost the films and sleepovers and bug-catching, the holidays and pets and birthday parties.Izuku doesn't have to think to know that he loves Eri very, very much. And with that, he knows that he wants to make sure she reclaims every tiny piece of childhood she might have missed, or could in the future.
She deserves the happiness that he didn't get. Even if he has to do things that scare him to ensure this, he'll do it. He's her Deku-nii after all.

Aizawa knows that a lot of his kids haven't had ideal childhoods. The general countenance of his Problem Child suggests that he might be one of them. But it's not until he starts interacting with him in non-school settings that such things become far more obvious. And, well, maybe there's something he can do about it.
