It sounds silly when it comes from someone else, only it makes perfect sense in her head.

“He was making fun.” The explanation falls on deaf ears, as Helaena resumes her humming. “He meant to provoke Aegon. He used you."
She sets a hand on the post, spinning herself in place, over and over until she stumbles, sliding onto the end of the bed instead. Her hair falls over her face, gentle waves and a beautiful white blanket, hiding her expression as she continues.
