Lord Rowan Morrow, one of the warlords of the Wilds, an untamed, harsh land filled with worshippers of the old gods and monsters, a man with a bloody reputation and full of secrets. But as the closest friend of the king, he was not denied his request and so she found herself handed off to him instead.

Steve jumps when a tentacle curls around his leg. He really should have been paying attention to those things.
“Why me? Why not someone else?”
“Because I choose you. Unless you’d rather I run around the world unchecked, doing whatever the monster inside of me pleases.”
