Summary
The meager audience falls silent, and it makes the crowd seem even smaller than it is. Yoshida. Denji doesn’t recognize the name; it’s somewhat surprising, considering that between the three Hayakawas, it sometimes feels like they’ve come into contact with every single person on this campus at least once. He flips through the file cabinet of his brain, tries desperately to yank out a document with a face or a major or any sort of information attached to it, but he comes up empty.
When Yoshida comes on the stage, all shaggy black hair and edgy piercings, dark eyes and teasing smirk, Denji realizes that he truly doesn’t know him after all. But immediately, he wants to.
He really, really wants to.
When Denji gets dragged to a student open mic night at the university, the last thing he expects is to fall for the tall, handsome guitar player onstage. He admires Yoshida from afar until eventually, his fanboy crush is elevated to something more.

Summary
In the year following everything that happened, Denji has become the caretaker of a kid and eight animals, enrolled in high school, and is getting blocked in his attempts to get girls by revealing his identity as Chainsaw Man. Not much has changed besides that, but then the relationship between him and Yoshida Hirofumi turns into one that’s more than platonic. Denji has always assumed that he and Yoshida are complete opposites, but as they grow closer, he realizes that they have a lot in common for better or worse — and that there are things he’ll need to finally face in order to move forward with not only their relationship, but his life.

Summary
For Denji, loneliness, the feeling of emptiness and death had always been a deep shadow stuck to his feet like dog shit. His life was miserable enough to add a stalker like Yoshida to the never-ending suffering.

It all starts with a proposal that benefits the both of them. Taking care of his appearance, doing better in class and spending a lot of time with Yoshida. Denji was willing to endure anything just to score with a girl.
Because if Denji manages to get a girlfriend, Yoshida wouldn’t have to waste his time following a dude around and he wouldn’t have to keep seeing his stupid face everyday. His stupid, pretty face and his beautiful eyes…
