Picks up right after 05x19.
Lena felt a surge of warmth at having Kara’s hand in hers once again. She had missed the softness of the hero’s gaze, and having it directed her way after such a long period of self-isolation was enough to reignite a small spark of hope inside her. Maybe things were not totally lost after all. Their relationship, their fight against Lex and Leviathan—it all felt manageable now that she and Kara had tackled the ugly bulk of their near-fatal spat. Though there were a million things still left to be said, Lena felt more resolved than ever to take down her abusive, narcissistic, maniac of a half-brother. One thing had become abundantly clear during this ordeal: She would have to be the one to fight for her own soul, no matter how often the pull of darkness drew her in.
