Summary
The second local and national elections are fast approaching. Opportunists are mobilizing, eager to monopolize power for their personal gains. To make matters worse, the most powerful threats to democracy have decided to combine forces, gaining more supporters and machinery than ever before that transcend even higher than their predecessors.
On the other hand, the opposition fails to unite against the common enemy. This forces Kamisato Ayato, the current Vice President and chairperson of the opposition, to run for the highest position in office despite his initial reluctance. Maximizing his resources amidst the race against time, he regroups with his few yet loyal allies, reunites with his long-time political partner, and builds his dream team in an attempt to reestablish his beloved nation.
Unbeknownst to them, no matter how pure and selfless their intentions are, most of their constituents are beyond saving. Radical love alone will not guarantee a place in the government. To achieve a powerful platform, one must be willing to get one's hands dirty first in a cesspool filled with nothing but greed and hubris.
One who loves must fight for the one they love.
