Summary
Silkie has wanted to be an explorer ever since she knew what the word meant. When she leaves her life of luxury in a remote part of the Brass Desert, though, she finds a strange Vulpix, who claims to have once been a human. Putting aside her skepticism, Silkie agrees to help this Vulpix, named Gloria, find a way to reverse the transformation.
But all is not as it seems. Gloria has no memories from before meeting Silkie, aside from her name, former species, and a strange crystal that she thinks - no, knows, she needs. Haunted in her dreams by a red Lunala, Gloria has her own goals to work towards, even after joining the prestigious Moonlight Academy with Silkie. The two of them will find many allies, enemies, and strange incidents ahead of them, but can they solve the mysteries of their world?

Though no one knows how or why, humans have been appearing in the Pokemon world more and more frequently over the past few decades. It takes time for them to adapt to a brand new body with no memories (and there’s always a lot of confusion about the talking animals and sentient teapots floating around), but most find a happy new life in the Pokemon world.
However, as the natural order of the world begins to break down—evolution becoming impossible, mystery dungeons and natural disasters cropping up at an alarming rate, and the gods themselves going dormant—some are starting to suspect the rising number of humans has something to do with the world's imbalance.
Every crisis needs a scapegoat.
Nia just wants to return to her old life and those she left behind, but to do so she'll have to team up with a bitter charmander who's carrying his own baggage from a painful past. A story heavily focused on relationships, growth, and overcoming grief, join Nia and Tobias on their journey as Seekers in the Pokemon world.
