Patroclus doesn't like Briseis' new boyfriend. Achilles doesn't like Patroclus' non-existent boyfriend. Patroclus' dog doesn't like Achilles. And no matter how hard Diomedes tries, people just don't seem to get what he's attempting to say.
Or: Patroclus tries to question the state of Briseis' relationship without giving away who he's talking about. Achilles is convinced Patroclus' is trapped in an unhealthy relationship, and needs him to know how a good boyfriend would treat him. Chaos ensues.

Achilles gives the boy a careful look-over. He doesn’t look like a desperado—too young, perhaps, for that— and he’s no peddler either; he's got no wares to sell. His shirt and his leather chaps would have once been of good make though they’re now worn and dusty, and the silver spurs on his boots mark him as anything but a laboring man. Whoever he is, he must have been well off… at some point.
“What’s your name, son?” Peleus asks, a friendly yet cautious smile on his lips. Everyone around these parts has learned not to be too trusting of strangers.
“Patroclus, sir.”
“And what’s your father’s name, Patroclus?”
Patroclus’ jaw clenches. “I ain’t got none, sir.”

Summary
Crying was all that Achilles could hear throughout the House of Hades. It had been going on for what seemed to be hours, with no clear sign of stopping. Achilles could even hear the crying from across the house to the hallway where he guards. It only got louder in the lounge area with all the shades suffered.
Everyone knew where the crying was coming from of course. The only other room besides the lounge in that hallway just so happened to be the Young Master Zagreus’ room. Everyone besides Hades himself and Nyx were forbidden from entering, lest they face some sort of punishment. So the shades were forced to wait until Nyx calmed the child down.

Or Achilles is basically Zagreus's dad, and has to deal with trying to help raise him with little to no experience with children.
