Summary
Occuring during Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders, Kiss From a Rose is a story of unexpected love and overcoming evil.
Having abandoned her home in New York and crossing the sea to Egypt, stand user Rose searches for both a new purpose and a cleanse to her past. Believing she’s found it in the beautiful and mysterious DIO, she gives herself over to his influence, becoming one of his many minions for evil.
That is until Rose is rescued by the Stardust Crusaders, who are travelling to Egypt to defeat DIO. The ragtag group of men remove the flesh bud from her brain and free her of DIO’s control. Now enraged by the betrayal and out for revenge, Rose joins the group.
Along the way Rose grows both a resentment and an admiration for the lovable and goofy Frenchman Jean Pierre Polnareff, who fell in love with her at first sight. The two navigate both dangerous stand users and their own tumultuous relationship, all while Rose tries to hide from her past.
