    When the preacher said "speak now or forever hold your peace", Childe wished for someone to really speak now so that he could get out of the stupid arranged marriage his father forced him into. And someone did, thankfully - in the form of a knife being thrown at him. How romantic.

    Lumine was just supposed to interrupt the wedding ceremony and kill the prince, but now, she's running away with him and the entire kingdom thinks that he's madly in love with her. What a mess.

    (She’s forced to witness his efforts to court the Traveler while not realizing he’s fallen for her. She’s also sort of amused but is constantly groaning because she is suffering from watching it unfold.)

    Lumine is the princess of Mondstadt and Childe is the prince of Snezhnaya—two kingdoms which have a long-running rivalry rooted in trade and territory. For years, their kingdoms had been cold to each other, with those at the opposite thrones holding utter disdain for the other.

    But that’s all it’s been—cold, with neither parties caring about the other. No bloodshed, no intimidation, no threats of war—that is, until one party at Fontaine goes terribly wrong. Now, it’s up to Lumine and Childe to stop this war-in-the-making… and the solution they’ve conjured? A fake marriage to hopefully unite the two kingdoms at last.
