“Motive,” Will replied, setting his hands to his knees to lever himself up to stand. He peeled his gloves off and wiped his palms against his jeans. “The three most likely reasons for murder are always money, power, or breeding rights.”
A story in which Will, an Omega, pretends to be a Beta in order to keep his job... and is sent "undercover" as an Omega into a traditionalist community to find a killer. With Hannibal as his generous Alpha chaperone, of course. Jack has no idea this is a double blind, but does Hannibal?

Summary
After the fall off the cliff, Hannibal Lecter lost everything (and then his life). Faced with the magical and incredible opportunity to remake his destiny and correct his mistakes (numerous, he knows), he clarifies the points to his past self, who is just embarking on what will be a true journey upon meeting Will Graham. Hurt, alone, and regretful, Hannibal tries to equip himself with the necessary tools to prevent this future Will from choosing the fall as salvation from his suffering.
But the new Hannibal Lecter, master of controlling his emotions and puppeteer of his surroundings, perhaps isn't willing to be prey to a strange profiler who clearly destroyed his life, if the vision of his future and emotional self made it clear to him.
