Summary
After the Battle at Starcourt Mall Joyce and Hopper married, and the Byers-Hopper family move to Lenora Hills California on the US Government's dime.
Four years later the party is finally reuniting on a Summer trip to California and everyone is excited... except for Will.
Will feels a bit abandoned and forgotten by many of his friends- Dustin and Lucas hardly talk to him and only really talk about Hawkins when they do, and Mike stopped responding after 3 months into their move. Max, Robin and Steve are the only ones who have any sort of idea what is going on in his life now.
Feeling the absence of his childhood friends Will has moved on with his new friends in Lenora, discovering himself and becoming a person he was too afraid to let loose before.
But what will that leave in store with his childhood friends back in the picture? Is there anything that can even be done to restore some broken friendships? And what happens when new and old feelings come back to light?
