    The Captain has never exactly admitted to himself that he likes men, but after a mildly passionate night spent with a certain Romantic wannabe poet, it would be pretty hard to deny it. Nonetheless, the Captain is not prepared to go into a full-on relationship with Thomas.

    But when an ancient Roman ghost who was too shy to introduce himself before turns up, he is cute, funny, kind, intelligent, and oh so handsome. Naturally, the Captain fancies him.

    Now if only he could confess his feelings without making a fool of himself….

    A Ghosts fic in which I give Cap the man he deserves.

    Edit: the Captain did not in fact serve in Africa. He has no Africa Star (a military medal awarded to soldiers who served in WWII Africa). I wrote this before doing my research properly.
