Summary
A post-S1 AU. Guilt-ridden and in shock over causing Caroline's accident, without any magical way to heal her friend, Bonnie turns to magic for another solution. She finds it: time travel. But why jump back one night, when she could go back a couple of months and save everyone-including her Grams? But magic is never simple, and Bonnie finds herself on the Salvatore plantation in 1864. As she struggles to find her way home, she must rely on the kindness (or at least the curiosity) of Katherine Pierce and the human Salvatore brothers to protect her in a very different Mystic Falls.
