A pause.
His eyes dragged over Clark, not with drunken lust but with something sharper.
“You here to watch… or join? Might as well make it a threesome.”
Clark choked on his own spit so hard he nearly doubled over, coughing.
It's been 5 years since both Superman and Batman began their separate crusades. Both curious but cautious.
Clark remains in Metropolis, respecting the Dark Knight's strict rule to keep metas out of Gotham. Meanwhile, Bruce is consumed with finding a balance between Batman and Bruce Wayne, determine to not repeat mistakes of the past. But it's hard to do that when he is too stubborn to accept help. Fortunately, for him Clark is just as stubborn.
Their paths cross when Clark is sent to cover a gala in Gotham, stepping into the city he's barred from. What begins as a professional obligation turns into an unforgettable collision with Gotham's once reclusive billionaire.
Or Clark and Bruce fall for each other slowly yet quickly.

Summary
An Alternate Universe.
Tobio is a single parent wrongly fired from his job of five years, having to quickly find a way to make money to provide for his son. He ends up having to do something that he's refused to do until he feels like he has no choice; selling his body.
One of Kuroo, Bokuto and Oikawa's pranks end up backfiring on them and destroys their home in the process; much to Iwa's fury. The four of them having to take shelter at the Omotenashi Hotel. Which just happens to be the same Hotel that Tobio is selling his body at; Tobio being the younger brother of Kuroo.
Akaashi is in an abusive marriage, forced into an arranged marriage by his parents when he was younger. He ends up working at the Omotenashi Hotel. Where he runs into an old love.
Worlds collide and everything becomes chaos, getting pulled into the dangerous Elite world and what dark secrets it hides, discovering a new world and the abilities that no one would have ever thought to be possible. Not just for our main characters, but for the people around them as well; love, hate, sex, cheating and deaths.
Everyone has a past, everyone has a story.

“I-I know we didn’t…” He suppresses a groan as Ilya moves his hips, thrusting up into him now. “But I need… they need…”
Ilya growls, caught off guard from Shane’s choice of word. “They?”
Shane presents his neck again, reaching behind with his hand to gesture at his nape, glancing behind his shoulder into Ilya’s eyes.
“They need to know I belong to you. And you belong to me.” His finger brushes at his nape, right where the perfect mark of Ilya Rozanov’s bite will be. “I want a more worthy trophy that I can carry.”

Summary
Maybe thinking that he'll finally get some sleep made Shane and idiot, maybe wishing for a non-asshole neighbor was selfish.
Shane never really did get what he wished for.
He should march over to his apartment and lecture him on common decency, let him know that because of him Shane was falling asleep and work at messing up his perfectly mapped out schedule. However what he shouldn't do is follow Ilya Rozanov with his eyes or wait like a stalker for him outside his door just to run into him, he shouldn't think about him at work or on the subway. There so many things that Shane shouldn't do regarding Ilya Rozanov but again Shane finds himself doing what he shouldn't do, laying in bed listening to the sounds and vibration coming from the other apartment with his head in his hands, if this wasn't the last straw, Shane wasn't sure what would be.
