Summary
“Kang Taehyun,” he challenged confidently. “And why are you here, wearing a café employee’s uniform?”
For the first time since Beomgyu had known of the boy, the latter visibly tensed, tearing his gaze away.
“I think you’re the one who doesn’t know of our school rules.” Beomgyu grinned, waving his phone at Kang Taehyun like he was a matador, tempting a charged bull with red. “Should we find out what happens if I show this video of you working to the principal?”
Kang Taehyun regained his composure so quickly, Beomgyu almost second-guessed the prior sight of his fleeting hesitance. His large, piercing eyes were downcast in a disbelieving frown. “You’re lying.”
“What’s this? Is our proper little council president suddenly scared?” Beomgyu smirked, leaning back into his seat and folding his arms smugly.
Or,
Beomgyu and Taehyun have been enemies since day one of high school, and discovering Taehyun’s secret (and definitely impermissible) part-time job may give finally Beomgyu some leverage over him. But Beomgyu inadvertently ends up discovering an entirely different side of Taehyun which is not so bad after all, and possibly even lovable…?

Summary
Beomgyu has always gotten his way, no matter what the circumstances were.
Destined to become the next king, he grew to be arrogant and cocky. It wasn’t until one day, he made a grave mistake and crossed the line, causing his mother to punish him harshly by stripping away his powers and banishing him to Earth where he must learn how to become a better person.
Lost and struggling to even survive, he suddenly meets Kang Taehyun, a college student who stumbles upon him out of no where. He soon discovers that this Taehyun boy holds the crystal necklace that wields his powers, and he’s desperate to take it all back and go home.
So he hatches a plan: befriend him, take back his powers, and leave.
But as time passes by, he struggles with new desires and growing feelings, overcome with difficult choices: take back his powers, return home, and claim his spot on the throne, or stay on earth chasing after the one person who makes him feel seen?
