Summary
Nearly a century after The One Who Waits was defeated and the Red Crown usurped, Aym and Baal are resurrected and given a chance at the mortal life that they had been denied. However, something is very different with their old master. Will they accept Narinder after so much has changed in the interim? Can they forgive The Lamb for striking them down?

Summary
It has been a long time since Narinder felt anger or even disappointment at being supplanted by his destined vessel. Eventually he had found forgiveness, love, healing, and a happy home within the cult. However, he still held on to many feelings of guilt when he reflected upon how he treated the vessel that came before Lambert. It might be high time for him to express those regrets to him.
It's the least he deserves.

Summary
The Lamb has certainly faced harder challenges. They've toppled gods. And they even have an advantage here: all the years of experience and the many different spouses they'd had before Narinder properly came into their life kicking and screaming. They've taught him a lot since they married (and they mean a lot), and he's just as fierce a competitor in general as they are, but he'll always be less experienced than them.
They've got this. Easy. They can't think of any reason not to take him up on the offer.
(They're aware that maybe they're using the wrong head for reason. But despite what they tell the flock, "divine" isn't necessarily the same thing as "perfect".)

Summary
Narinder had waited a long time, sitting on his throne, not speaking a single word. In his self exile he forgot time moves forwards even if we may wish it had not.

The flock just keeps growing. I can care for it on a large scale, but it's more feasible to stay on top of things on a more, I guess… relational level if there's more than just one person at the head," they explain with a nod, seeming satisfied with themself. And oddly, it's their forthright manner here that's throwing him off guard, more than anything.
Through the crown, he had listened in on their sermons. They were a talented preacher, sometimes fearsome and sometimes loving, always grandiose. He'd drunk deep of the devotion their fervor inspired, and of their own fidelity to the gospel in their hand, penned carefully in his name. Their own worship.
And now, they spoke to him as if they were haggling with one of the vendors on the outskirts. Like that poorly disguised cannibal who sold them fish.
"So, I think it'd be a logical course of action if we just get married, and lead together," they finish, nodding again.-
