Summary
What if Scourge was given the chance to be a warrior?
Fate turns on small hinges. Two leaders of ThunderClan, on a whim, change who to send out on a patrol. As a result, Rusty meets Ravenpaw instead of Graypaw that first fateful night - and is chased off by Ravenpaw's mentor Tigerclaw. Many years earlier, Tiny meets Whitekit and Sunstar instead of Tigerpaw and Thistleclaw - and is offered a chance at a new life. A small change leads these two half-brothers, who would have become Firestar and Scourge, to instead chart a new path. Rusty becomes Boon, the leader of the street cat clan "FireClan" - and Tiny becomes Tinyfrost, a fierce ThunderClan warrior. The path of fate ripples outwards from them both, forever changing the story of the warrior cat Clans.
This is the first of their stories - a butterfly-effect alternate universe retelling of Into the Wild.

Summary
Since ancient times, four Clans of wild cats have shared the Forest in accordance to the laws laid down by their warrior ancestors. But ThunderClan finds itself in a precarious situation; After a harsh leaf-bare, ThunderClan has to defend their territory from an increasingly aggressive - and desperate - RiverClan. Meanwhile, ShadowClan finds itself facing internal strife the likes of no cat has seen in generations, and WindClan becomes more and more distant from the other Clans in the Forest, as their trust in their neighbors is slowly eroded.
In the midst of this turmoil appears an ordinary house cat named Rusty, and a prophecy that centers him: "Fire will save the Clan."
Or: I spent way too much time thinking about weird worldbuilding choices and strange timeline issues in Warriors, and decided to do something about it. This rewrite is that "something."
