On Sasuke and Sakura and universally acknowledged truths. (Because it's never easy for Sasuke and Sakura, but it's a truth universally acknowledged they'll end up together no matter what world they're in.)
Uchiha Sasuke manages to insult Haruno Sakura before saying a single word to her. For him, their first meeting is something akin to love at second sight. For her, it's decidedly...not. What should be a chance one-time encounter turns into a series of unfortunate events in which each person's feelings for the other grows each time. It's too bad they're on opposite sides of the spectrum.
Or: Pride and Prejudice but make it Naruto.

A declaration, it was. Made out of her burning admiration for her mother, who greeted even her enemies with a smile on her plum-stained lips.
The hard-headed, pink-haired rascal wanted nothing more than to walk the world with kindness dripping out of her, just like her mother did.
So this want becomes a dream, a dream that she makes her ambition-- her goal.
But goals don't last forever, and neither does life when you're around Haruno Sakura and the souls that came before her.

In which Sakura takes a thousand steps forward but ends up twelve years back.
They were ducked behind tree trunks and perched on the branches of surrounding trees above them. They were clad in dark cloaks and animal masks painted in red and gold. Like birds to prey, they gazed quietly, heads titled in silent curiosity. Under the setting sun and shrouded in shadows, they looked like the body of nightmares.
“What the fuck are those?” Sakura hissed quietly to her companion. Sasuke, who had been observing them with the same razor-sharp scrutiny as she had, moved his hand to hover over the hilt of his sword and Sakura thought it was as good a reply as any. He had reached the same conclusion she had: whatever they were, they were definitely not ordinary.
