Summary
"'It makes me happy to know that you have the strength to do what needs to be done.'
'Thanks.' The single word is thick in Hajime's throat. He doesn’t know why he feels like he’s going to cry.
Komaeda sounds so much like that first day right now. Wrapped in a wreath of twisted, poisonous words, there’s a precious shard of comfort.
Their friendship was so short that it had barely existed, like a budding flower killed by an early spring frost. But Hajime had treasured it while it lasted. Komaeda had been the one to kill it. But by playing Monokuma’s game, Hajime feels like he’ll be driving the final nail into the coffin."
A twisted addendum to the killing game forces Hinata into deeper intimacy with Komaeda than he ever knew he wanted.

Summary
“'You know you’re not an obligation, right?'
Nagito must’ve imagined those plaintive words, or the added weight of a second hand on his own. Because the frown is still there, and the saddened eyes, and there’s still no smile, never a smile.
He must’ve imagined them. So he doesn’t answer. Hinata won’t smile, so he will smile enough for the both of them for now.
He wishes the blurriness in his eyes would go away."
A dementia symptom flareup over Christmas leads to some relationship introspection for Komaeda and Hinata. Written for Komahina Christmas Week on tumblr.

Summary
"Hinata feels like himself again. He wishes he didn’t. Without Kamukura’s apathy, his whole body is shaking now. Shaking with rage, or fear, or something in between. He refuses to cry... but even his adamant refusal might be void, as nausea and regret sweep over him like dark clouds blocking out the stars.
He’s so tired of this. Tired of everything."
Hinata deals with the aftermath of Kamukura's coping mechanisms with Komaeda's help.
