Summary
Lan Wangji's rabbit likes to sunbathe on his living room windowsill. Which is where he gets spotted by A-Yuan while Wei Wuxian is bringing him home from preschool. Ever curious, the boy asks to see the rabbit, which soon becomes his new friend.

Wei Wuxian sets out on his journey to find his footing in the world again, and Lan Wangji lets him, both linked by the promise of spending the rest of their lives together upon Wei Wuxian’s return. They keep up a steady stream of correspondence, until one day, the letters stop coming. Alarmed, Lan Wangji sets out to find his beloved and make sure that he is safe and sound – which he is, as Lan Wangji discovers when he finally finds Wei Wuxian. Only that Wei Wuxian, the man Lan Wangji loves the most in his life, seems to have forgotten that Lan Wangji even exists. Both are understandably confused. With the help of Lan Sizhui and Wen Ning, they endeavour to solve the mystery of Wei Wuxian’s vanished memories and attempt to navigate the possibility of a future that is nothing like they imagined it.

Summary
The door creaks open, and Mo Xuanyu steps inside, worry on his face. Lan Wangji is instantly awake.
“What is it, A-Yu?” he asks, turns on his side table lamp, and gently nudges Wei Wuxian to rouse him from sleep. He blinks, yawns, notices that Lan Wangji is awake and Mo Xuanyu is in their bedroom, and sits up.
“What’s going on?”
Mo Xuanyu worries at the skin around his fingers. “I got up to use the bathroom and on my way back I looked into A-Yuan’s bedroom, to see if he’s okay.”
And…?” Wei Wuxian prompts.
“He’s gone. Like, he’s not in his bed, and his blanket and pillow and his bunny plushie are also gone. I looked in his room but couldn’t find him, so I came to get you.”

The one in which someone is about to find out what happens when they are rude to Wangxian's kids.

Lan Wangji tries to say something, but his voice fails him. When he finally manages to speak, he sounds hoarse.
“This letter arrived this morning,” he says. “It spelled my birth name on it, the one my mother gave me. I didn’t recognise the handwriting on it, so I set it aside to read it later."
Wei Wuxian is silent, giving Lan Wangji the time he needs to find his words.

“I’m so sorry. My car broke down. Can I use your phone? I need to call my jiejie.” His voice trembled as he spoke, apparently struggling with the cold just as much as the boy he was holding but trying to keep it together for the sake of the child.
“Baba,” the little boy whimpered. “I’m cold.”
“I know, baobao. It’s okay. We’ll get you warmed up soon.”
The little whimper from the boy was what spurred Lan Zhan into action. He took a step back, gesturing for them to enter.

Wei Ying shows up on Lan Zhan's doorstep with a child in tow after going missing for several years. Lan Zhan has to deal with the feelings this dredges up and discovers the truth behind Wei Ying's disapperance, the identity of the child and the dark past that Wei Ying doesn't want him to know about.

Not only is Lan Wangji’s neighbour stupidly handsome, no, he’s also intelligent and witty and funny and clever and very talkative…which should put Lan Wangji off, since he really likes his peace and quiet. But Wei Wuxian? He could listen to him talk for hours. Which is…wild, to Lan Wangji, if he’s being honest.
Still not as wild as coming home from work one afternoon to find his balcony ransacked, the door opened, and a fox sitting on his armchair.
Lan Wangji does not own a pet fox.
