Been growing up together and working with the Leclercs in Monaco, Clarisse Lavigne was considered as one of their own. After a few tragic losses in the past years, Charles decided to distance himself from his family and focus on his 2019 GP with Ferrari.
With Clarisse being sent to Bahrain by his family to accompany him, he doesn't think his focus would last very long.

But an atavistic instinct, something as old and natural, made me lower my palms till being able to clearly feel the warmth coming from his hands.
This would be something insignificant for everyone, something banal.
But for my frozen heart this means else, a thin crack in the wall I had to build to protect myself. To survive.
I lift my gaze towards his face, maybe begging him to take me away, a thing I clearly don't know how to do by myself.
Especially because now I'm totally lost in the green of his eyes.
