Sure, sometimes it got tiring or frustrating on a day when he had already struggled through a particularly difficult math lesson and he mixed the numbers and letters up and just stared at the page until the time was up because he couldn't read it because he was stupid – but most of the time, it was fine. It was practice.

But as usual and expected, the time came when his baby brother considered himself too old for Disney on Ice and backed out of it as well.
Hyacinth was different. She absolutely adored the ice-skating shows, her eyes gleaming with wonder as she sat next to her big brother, holding onto his arm even after over ten years of watching them. She always demanded elaborate Disney costumes to wear on the day and even convinced Anthony to enrol her in ice skating lessons because of it. It was their thing, that one event that belonged to them, and Anthony thought she’d never grow tired of it, just as he never had, just like Daphne never had. Or at least that they’d have more time.
___________________________________Anthony cannot understand why his youngest sister is angry with him for taking his son to Disney on Ice. Hyacinth's not helping.
