    Truthfully, Leon knew he wasn't alone the second he closed the door behind himself. It wasn't that he heard anything, or saw anything, it wasn't so concrete. Yet there was a shift in the air, like before a thunderstorm, and Leon was immediately on high alert.

    As silently as he could, he stepped to the small table he kept near the front door, the drawer sliding open easily and without a creak. He only kept a small handgun there, nothing fancy, but it would do. Adjusting his grip on it, he moved further into the apartment, ready to shoot whatever or whoever it was if necessary.

    Until a familiar voice cut through the still night air.

    "My my my, you really haven't aged a day."

    It's 2013 and Krauser has been dead for almost a decade. Except he hasn't.
