Really, it was his fault for hoping for—for what? A relationship with Itoshi Sae that was more than brotherhood? Sure, relationships between Alpha-Omega siblings weren't anything new, encouraged even because of how rare Alpha and Omegas were. Your sibling being your mate was much safer and even preferable because of the high risk outsiders posed. Of course you can look for mates in others, most people did at present. And Rin…he had thought that during those four years of painful silence, at-least they would go back together when Sae came back. Not just as brothers but a striker duo and even mates.
How utterly lukewarm.
