Pomni has been stuck in the circus for a few days. The other players, Jax, Zooble, Gangle, and Kinger, have made little effort to socialize with her.
Caine knows the solution: Create an artificially intelligent NPC to make Pomni feel better, so everyone can get along.
(Or, Ragatha is an AI NPC, created by Caine, made to be a group therapist. But it's hard to be a therapist, when you've only just gained sentience... and you have to deal with Jax)
