Summary
This is an outline of my Quincy Ichigo AU, Divergence of the Worlds - Ichigo Kurosaki: The Apothesis.
Born in the Great Quincy Empire in the World of the Living, Ichigo Kurosaki is a 15-year-old Quincy training to bear the coveted title of Sternritter A with the Ishida family to protect his mother and sisters from the remaining Shinigami clans that survived the destruction of the Soul Society 1000 years ago by Yhwach. Being different from the rest of the Quincy and Elite Sternritter, due to his instinctual Shinigami skills and having Hollow reiatsu, Ichigo seeks answers about his heritage and the world around him. Who will the Apothesis choose to be, a King of the Universe or another Horse of the Current King?

Before the events of Thousand Year Blood War, most Sternritter find themselves deciding to indulge in the human custom of exchanging gifts on Christmas when the opportunity presents itself due to the absence of their dislplincary Grandmaster. Some found it tedious, others found a rare fulfillment outside their daily regime, and then there were those who felt conflicted that day.
