Summary
Eddie Munson used to have everything, once upon a time. He made music, had a place to call home in the city, and most importantly, he had the honor of loving and being loved by Steve Harrington. The love of his life.
But on the morning of April 26th, 1990, Steve went missing. His body was found rotting at the bottom of Lover’s Lake a few weeks later.
Something about it doesn’t add up.
After a decade of grieving for a man he truly didn’t believe was gone, a decade in which Eddie had lost all the things that once made his life beautiful, he comes across a picture of a very much alive Steve in a British newspaper. Alive and kicking, it seems. The revelation raises more questions than answers- where was he? Why did he leave? And, the million dollar question, is he still Steve Harrington at all?or:
Steve is presumed dead for a decade, and when he’s found alive and well in London, all hell breaks loose.project #004 for the Steddie BigBang 2024 ♥

Summary
There's no reason for Eddie to feel so wrong. Everything’s normal in his life; He lives with his uncle and his brother, his and his friends’ band is a moment away from making it big, he has a boyfriend he loves more than anything else and life’s pretty great, but something still feels... misplaced.
His memories are all mixed up and he seems to be remembering his life incorrectly- sometimes he’ll feel pain or discomfort in places he isn’t even wounded in, he’ll have memories that go completely against one another, and there are some weird things his mind doesn’t allow him to even think about, such as red skies, bones snapping and the way Dustin screams his name.
All in all, it’s easy to ignore, up until he sees a strange girl with blood trickling down her nose.

Summary
“What the fuck are we doing, Harrington?”
“I don’t know, man,” Steve laughs too. It is freeing, in a way, to laugh with someone you care about so deeply when you know they’re gone and it is all nothing but a dream. “You reached out to me, right? You should be the one to know stuff.”
“What do you mean I reached out to you? You got it all wrong, big boy, I was chilling and your house suddenly appeared. I’m not the one calling the shots here.”
“Well, obviously, it’s my dream.” Steve shrugs.
Eddie closes his eyes. “Your dream? Why do you think it’s a dream?”
“Because you aren’t real?” Steve tries. Eddie opens one eye and raises his eyebrow. “You’re not real. Eddie, you’re fucking dead.”Or-
Eddie is dead. Steve can’t stop dreaming about him. -

Video rental shops, as nostalgic as they are, simply aren't a thing in 2017. In the age of Netflix, no one needs a small corner store that allows you to rent classic movies and discuss them with film enthusiasts like the Maldonado family. They still hung a "hiring" sign on the door, though, just in case someone would like to lend a hand.
When a stranger shows up and asks Peter if they're still hiring, Peter's world's about to turn upside down. -

Summary
Sam tries to do the right thing. He really, really does, even though he knows deep down inside that Gabi was right and that it's all wrong. But he liked being wrong once in a while. You can't be right without being dumb once or twice along the way, right?

Summary
Every time Peter snuck back into Sam's mind, he felt completely lost. In their almost a decade long friendship, Peter was always his compass and his anchor. It was only natural for the thing between them to bloom into something more than a friendship. Neither of them- or at least, that's what Sam liked to believe- knew that their relationship could end so badly and that fast. The worst thing about this whole I-haven't-seen-or-talked-to-my-ex/best-friend-in-eight-years situation was that Sam has never stopped loving Peter. It was such a shame, sometimes, remembering Peter was now somewhere in LA and wants nothing to do with Sam anymore.

In the age of Netflix, no one needs a small corner store that allows you to rent classic movies and discuss them with film enthusiasts like the Maldonado family. They still hung a "hiring" sign on the door, though, just in case someone would like to lend a hand and allow Linda Maldonado to have the bit of free time she deserved.
The Stranger looked up at Peter, smiling. "Hey, I, umm… I saw the sign outside and wanted to ask if you guys were still hiring?" -

Summary
Everyone knew about this thing that happens when both you and your soulmate turn 18- you start feeling each other's pain. Sam's 18th birthday passed four months ago, but he felt nothing at all. It left him with two options, either his soulmate was the safest person on earth, or that his soulmate wasn't 18 yet.
In a way, Sam hoped it was the latter. If his soulmate wasn't 18 yet, it meant that it could be him. It meant it could be Peter. -

Summary
Sam was staring at his computer screen, scrolling through posts on Tumblr posted by "paldonado". He'd mock his best friend for the absolute lack of originality choosing a URL if it wasn't for the content of his blog.
There were dozens of these posts, dated all the way back to 2014 up until early 2018, detailing a crush on a certain friend. One that Peter's apparently making a doc with, who he'd met when they were both 10, who was definitely Sam Ecklund.
Shit.
