    Being raised in a divorced household made Zoey’s standards almost ridiculously high, as her bandmates sometimes pointed out. Her parents were great, their relationship wasn’t. From a young age, she observed and made notes, not wanting to end up like them. She didn't crave love from her parents as individuals, but rather, the love they could have provided together.
