Summary
[Summary rewritten on: May 29th, 2023]
In a world of superheroes and supervillains, there are solid distinctions between Hero and Villain.
In a world where magic, mobs, and the mundane mix, there are easy rules to follow.
In a world of mortals and gods, the powerless and the powerful, there are concrete roles to play.
In forming bonds that bridge these disconnects, people often find that none of the above is true.
Or:
A Dreamnoblade-Centric fic where everyone on all sides is a little compromised, but, well... learning to love is learning to accept compromise.
(Or:
Dream and Techno start an Enemies-With-Benefits relationship in secret, and get distracted from a bigger picture as they and everyone else suffer. Just a little.)
