鱼腥味会让他想起咸中带涩的河水，混着腐烂变质的味道从口鼻倒灌入肺。河中瞪着眼睛的鱼，漂浮缠绕的海藻，还有底部漆黑一团里扬起的细沙，都在离他远去。意识沉浸到深海，泡胀了的四肢不受控制地向着光收拢，肺部的空气被液体挤压离开，成为一串泡泡向上挣扎，朝着光的方向。
他以为溺死是最痛苦不过的死法了。当他在医院睁开眼、得知自己被救了的时候，才知道原来活着是种罪孽，要他用余生偿还。
从此以后的每一天都是噩梦。
