    As an incredibly talented collegiate diver and one of two captains for the University of Tokyo’s extremely successful Swim and Dive team, Fushiguro Megumi has no time for distractions. He’s far too busy with grueling practices, demanding courses, and an insanely complicated family life to spend time on foolish things like cute guys or, god forbid, romance. He needs to keep his head in the game so he can lead his team to their fourth national title in five years, thereby ensuring he doesn’t make a fool of himself or make his team regret voting him in as the youngest captain their university has ever seen.

    So, he’s got no time for romance. Especially when the guy trying to woo him is the captain of the men’s water polo team (the very same team that cost them the title two years ago), and especially when that captain is the most frustratingly perfect idiot he’s ever met, one Itadori Yuuji.

    “You want to ruin him," Sukuna says.

    Maybe Sukuna isn’t wrong about that, Fushiguro thinks in a daze. Itadori’s heart is too heavy and too precious. It’s a burden that shouldn’t be given to anyone else. Because even Itadori himself can’t take care of it, can’t hold onto it for the life of him because he’d rather become the vessel to the most wretched of all curses just to help two people he’s only known for a few months—to help Fushiguro, who he’d only met that night.

    (I can keep it. Fushiguro’s hands move. I can hold onto it, if you want.)

    Maybe Sukuna’s definition of ruin wasn’t all that wrong from what Fushiguro wanted after all. Maybe that did make him just as wretched.

    But if Itadori was still willing to stay beside him, despite knowing that—

    Then there was no reason for Fushiguro to let him go.

    Or—

    Some dreams start to keep Fushiguro up at night, and the cure to stopping them might be closer than he thinks.

    Itadori’s taking tiny shuffling steps out of the dorm, plates balanced on either arm, a glass of water in one hand and juice in the other. There’s a coffee mug wedged in the crook of one elbow, so precarious that it looks like it’ll spill any second. His hair is mused, still vaguely flat on one side, and he’s wearing one of his zippered hoodies half unzipped with anime pajama bottoms.

    Megumi feels his cheeks heat, just a little. He tells himself it’s got nothing to do with the fact that Itadori’s not wearing a shirt under the hoodie, but he’s never been very good at lying to himself. The hint of muscle definition he sees is enough to make him want to tear his eyes away, but this is one of the few normal times where Megumi’s seen Itadori’s chest and part of him doesn’t want to waste it.

    “Y’know,” Itadori mutters, “I never saw the appeal of the whole four-arm thing until now.”

    (Or, alternatively: Itadori has been alive again for two months and four days, but Megumi’s only known about it for four days.

    “Bakugou sent you to ask me to date him?” Kirishima asks, baffled.

    “Of course not. We, his people, are asking you to date him. He’s going to have to get on board, if he wants his career to survive. And in the bargain, Riot will get all sorts of publicity, because their lyricist will be dating one of the industry’s hottest stars. A win for everyone.”

    When Kirishima Eijirou's band hits the big time, he's not prepared for his newfound fame. He's even less prepared to meet the actor he's been crushing on for years, or to start dating him as a publicity stunt. The closer Kirishima gets to Bakugou Katsuki, the more he realizes he's in over his head. But it's hard to stop, once his heart is in it.
