Summary
What prevented him from spiraling down to hell, was an interesting rumor that he had picked up at the local brewery: a newly arrived german immigrant told his fellow citizens that he had met the only survivor of the cinema attack, the infamous Dieter Hellstrom. Landa, who distinctly remembered seeing his comrade’s corpse, didn’t believe the man until he specified that Hellstrom was wasting away in a clinic with his brain all fucked up.
Landa contemplated the desert that had become his life and decided that, maybe, it was time to waltz back to Europe for a small journey.
It should have been medically impossible but there he was, trying to play some notes he had found somewhere in his devastated brain on an invisible piano.
Maybe he wouldn’t have to suffocate Dieter with his own pillow, after all. The man didn’t look as bad as he thought he would: wheelchair-bound and stick thin, yes, but not a catatonic and drooling mess. Landa would have sworn he saw a glint of recognition in those green eyes.

Freddy is almost unique in Eliza's life right now, being more interested in what she has to say that in what manner she says it.

Summary
After the Last Supper, Alicent and Rhaenyra say goodnight to Viserys together. Fully aware of Viserys's wishes, Alicent must now choose between her king's love for his daughter, and her own love for their sons. And though she 'knows' in her heart that her family deserves the throne, claiming it comes with a price: Rhaenyra's life.

Alicent knows Aegon's not fit to rule, but she still fears Daemon's ascension. Inspired by the fate of the first and last Storm Queen, she proposes a creative way to save Rhaenyra by installing Aemond as her King Consort. Aemond gets to reign, Otto gets to rule, Aegon gets to relax, Ser Criston gets revenge, and Alicent gets Rhaenyra. Everyone gets what they want. Every one of the Greens, that is.
Rhaenyra is the key to the Seven Kingdoms, and the Hightowers hold her in their hands. More importantly, they hold the mother of seven children. And while Daemon is a formidable commander, he's also a terrible parent.

Summary
There are so many phrases and words used in the ASOIAF universe that we would not intuitively use in everyday life. It's hard to keep track! So I decided to start making this "Instead of this - say this" guide for avoiding anachronisms. Comment below any phrases/replacements that YOU'VE noticed!
Note: Vocabulary used in the final two seasons of Game of Thrones does not count as canon/era-appropriate language... you know why.
