Summary
It's been 4 long years. Some old enemies have become dear friends, while some dear friends have become distant. Yet through it all, Danny Fenton has earned some hard fought stability in his life & a modicum of hope for the future as the summer after High School approaches it's end...
Until a brutal assault leaves him bloodied and broken, cradling a mortally wounded Danielle, right on Ember McLain's doorstep.
It becomes a race against the clock to keep her stable, and Ember's desperate gambit to save the young Halfa's life sets in motion events that quickly carry the trio towards an uncertain destiny.
With secrets itching to be unveiled, conversations long overdue, suprising discoveries about the people they love, and a full breadth of emotions ripped to the surface in the wake of tragedy barely avoided; Danny, Ember, and Danielle are going to need all the help they can get in their new and ever changing worlds.
What do you do when the Future demands more than you're prepared to give?
You forgive yourself your failures, welcome the love you have, leave the hurt behind...
and choose to be better for tomorrow.
