Summary
In his head, when he pictured how this scene would play out, how he would finally say those words to Oliver, he pictured saying it like a prayer, each of those three words sacred. But prayer is old; it is repetitive and over the hundreds of years it has been spoken by hundreds of people, the meaning is diminished. Instead this is new, this is fresh, he feels like the barren grass coming to life under Persephone’s foot as she emerges from the underworld come spring.

Summary
"It was good that I had taken the time to breathe before setting the scene into motion, because once the door opened, complaining slightly at its hinges, my lungs stopped. And maybe for just a split second, I, too, knew what drowning felt like.
James Farrow stood before me. Alive, breathing, dry and utterly, painfully breathtaking."-------------------------OR-----------------------------------
Oliver knocks on the door of an abandoned cottage where he hopes that the man he went to jail to protect is inside waiting for him after faking his own death (seriously, this is another level of be gay do crime, this is where being a dramatic bitch takes you). When the door is obviously answered by said death-faker (because obviously), the dramatic love birds have to sort a few things out before they can actually get together. But really, it doesn't take long because I don't have that sort of patience

Summary
Alexander takes the letter from my hands, and I know he sees the name on the envelope because he sets it on the table without opening it, quickly, like the words would burn him if he read them.
“Oliver,” Alexander says carefully, his voice a mixture of fear, wonderment, and grief. “Are you sure you want me to –?”
“I need to know if you can see what I see,” I tell him. “You’re the only one who could be objective about it. Meredith’s too prejudiced against him. Pip would just pity me. I can’t talk to Wren. You’re the only one who can be objective. You’ll tell me if it’s nothing. You always have.”

With all his siblings, Cas sometimes gets lost in the shuffle. At least he's got the Winchesters to make him feel wanted.
