Tenna never took sick days.
He couldn’t afford to! Without him nothing would get done, and not just because he was being anxious or underestimating his staff, things literally could not function without him having some kind of hand in the production. He might have been an individual Darkner with a personality, wants, desires… but he was also partially the entire TV World. If Tenna didn’t get up every day to do his duties, make sure he was there for the family’s scheduled shows or be able to improv when one of the kids got bored and decided to watch some TV, then the Lightners would be without entertainment. What’s worse, they might think he was broken.
