Summary
The Reapers won. They sabotaged the crucible project and it didn't work. John Shepard is dead and most of the galaxy's combined forces float decimated around Earth. There's still many years left in the cycle, and of course Shepards crew survived. He did choose the best after all.

Summary
"I drifted off hearing Tevos saying ‘I love you too’ again and again, and I’d never get tired of it. No matter how many times I heard it."
A recounting of Shepard and Tevos throughout the years, how they'd ended up here, and how it all started.

Summary
Shepard was never coming back, but the galaxy still needed protecting. What good was Garrus serving on the Citadel? Couldn’t he make a bigger difference outside the bounds of C-sec’s authority? It was a confrontation with his father that pushed him to his limit. He had to leave the Citadel, but where could he go where he could make a difference? Where could he go to pick up Shepard’s mantle?
The answer, he soon found, was a miserable hunk of rock in the heart of the traverse.
Omega.
Chronicles Garrus’ story from Shepard’s death to her return in five parts: his rise and fall on Omega, betrayal by Sidonis, and the truth of his feelings for his friend and former commander. Shakarian pre-relationship pining.

Summary
A mostly canon-compliant, somewhat abbreviated, definitely self-indulgent re-telling of Mass Effect 2 from Garrus' perspective.
As a Spacer Sole Survivor, it was always hard for my Shepard to swallow working for Cerberus in any capacity. (Never forget Kahoku!) Very canon-compliant. Possibly TOO canon-compliant, with lots of dialogue from the game. Deviates from cannon in the areas where I wish Shepard had gotten to say more critical things, to fight with the people who hung her out to dry, some in-between scenes that seemed fun, and some larger deviations in the romance progression to amp up the drama.
Hat tip to Aaron Sorkin, since I blatantly stole all the chapter titles from episodes of his shows.

Summary
None of this was the plan. Not the last night of shore leave with the handsome stranger. Not the covert mission to Eden Prime with a shakedown crew. Not a Prothean beacon.
And definitely not everything that came after...
A Nihlus Kryik fix-it, because we were robbed at gunpoint (literally). Beta'd by the lovely Iron_Angel.

Summary
Ten years after the end of the Reaper War, the galaxy has begun to heal. For Commander Shepard, this means settling into her role once more as Council Spectre, a soldier in the Alliance Navy, and loving wife to the galaxy's most proficient information broker, Liara T'Soni. For Samara, it means resuming her duties as an asari justicar, creating order in a galaxy pummeled by chaos.
When unknown enemies put her former crewmate Samara in danger, Shepard must once again reunite her friends...and confront the unconsummated love the two women shared on the Normandy SR-2. For the galaxy is not the same, and neither are they. The journeys before the advent of the Reapers and after their defeat have changed them...but how much?

Summary
Tali supports the turian’s weight as Shepard moves forward, but she can’t hear what she’s saying through the noise — her focus is on Garrus, the blue and silver of his armor charred black and smoking, red spots where the metal is melted and still burning from the proximity to the explosion. It takes all of her willpower to ignore the pain of her own burns and keep him from surging forward to follow Shepard back into the fire.
