Summary
Castiel Vaklav lives alone in his apartment with his cat. His life isn't so amazing now, but his college years were the best. He was friends with Sam Winchester and Jessica Moore, and watched them fall in love. But after years of them drifting from him, he hasn't seen them in two years. So when he gets an invitation to their wedding he is shocked, but he goes anyway. There he meets Sam's brother Dean, who he had heard so much about before, and is dragged to be a bridesmaid of Jessica's. Their wedding is wonderful, but the way Dean looks at him during it is even more so.

Summary
Castiel is a rare omega. Not only does he resent his place in society but has spent a lifetime suppressing his true instincts. He takes a night job as an emergency services dispatcher so he can hide away from a world he has no place in.
Over the years Castiel has developed an obsessive and very real phobia for everything that threatens his solitude. He has recurring nightmares that terrify him and fill his mind with images of being taken and claimed against his will.
He only wants to be left alone and unmated but fate must have other plans for him when he unexpectedly meets someone who seems to want to help.

Summary
For the most part, Dean got along with everyone. Or at least could fake it. Dealing with Castiel Novak was a completely different story.
Three very distinct things were working against him.
The first being he flirted with anything remotely attractive that moved, and ignored customers in his attempts to warm his bed at night. It wasn’t as though he was just an alpha. He was a fuckin’ alpha on steroids, who had a one track mind when it came to getting laid, which just so happened to be every. Single. Night.
The second was the fact that he came into work high as fuck most nights, and Dean could always count on it Fridays and by the end of his shift Sunday.
But his third problem?
Castiel Novak was hot as fuck. Like he had walked right out of one of Dean’s wet dreams, and he hated how much his body craved him. He hated him on paper: slut, hard drug user, street drug seller, who knew what else was on that list. But he wanted him. Bad.

Summary

This story is in two parts.
Part One is set in the Summer of 1992 when Dean and Castiel meet for the first time before either of them have presented. It details their transition into adulthood and how their relationship develops over time.
