Summary

Rei is... not quite content, but resigned to her lot in life. Wake up, get sent out to kill a bunch of people, get paid, sleep, repeat. It's not much, but then again, she knew better than to ask for more. However, she never signed up to inflict the same on children.
After being saddled with two eager children, unwittingly selected as meat for the grinder that is the Village System, Rei's had enough. She will make sure these two don't get swallowed up and spit out like she did, no matter what.

Apparently, death wasn't always the ending. But how would you know without dying? And how many people were ready to try it out? I certainly wasn't. But here I was. I died and got reborn in another world. I definitely wasn't going to complain about this new chance, but how could I forget the darkness of my past? Especially since darkness was always with me. Literally.
