    Depression was a waste of time, an emotional cesspit of nonsense as the Doctor would say, so Stone had no interest in that one. And acceptance? His Doctor would want him to remember his legacy, and take revenge on his enemies. That was the Doctor Stone knew anyways.

    Stone fights the gang to distract them from a Badnik mission, only for Shadow to set him off, and then he goes and cries to the Badniks at home once then mission is done.

    After the explosion, Dr Robotnik learnt three things in quick succession:

    1. A sufficiently large detonation combined with a sufficiently large amount of Chaos Energy creates a wormhole through which one can travel (or be sucked at the last second) to a parallel universe relatively safely.
    2. Earth seemed to stay pretty consistent across most universes.
    3. It appeared that, after a life of self-imposed seclusion in the manner of a gizmo-ridden, super-genius, hermetic monk, when it came down to brass tacks, Dr Robotnik was hard-pushed to tell the difference between most Earths.

    Dr Robotnik jumps through universes to try and get back home, confronting his feelings for Agent Stone along the way.

    “Away,” the Doctor echoes. “You’re going away, and not a single person thought to clear this with me? Tell me, Stone; when exactly did they, and you for that matter, intend to inform me of this?”

    Stone is pulled from the lab and sent back out into the field. Robotnik has a measured and normal reaction.
