The dark figure pointed with his flute. “There’s the road. Be on your way and don’t come back.” His tone dismissed them, a threat threaded between the words.
Cangse Sanren was not often afraid. She had been afraid as a child on the street, before she was found by Baoshan Sanren. She was afraid when the spider demon cornered them earlier that night, and she thought she would never see her baby boy again. She wondered vaguely if she should be afraid now.
But mostly she was just irritated.
She started to yell back at him, but lightning flashed, illuminating the people on horseback: elderly, bloody and bruised, in torn robes of sun and flames. As the lightning lit up all of their faces, the flutist’s cruel expression suddenly dropped, and his eyes went wide.
When he didn’t look so vicious, he was quite handsome. Maybe even vaguely familiar, somehow.

Summary
He Tian takes Mo’s hand between his own. Mo is about to complain (…the fuck is he doing?) but He Tian’s thumb brush over Mo’s knuckles. Mo freezes.
Mo’s hands are covered in little scratches, from when he was digging for He Tian. That’s what He Tian is looking at. Some of the cuts had bled, some just stung. Nothing deep. Mo’s hands are now a mess of dried blood and dirt and sensitive skin.
“…what are you doing?” he asks, calmer than he would have a second ago.
“Thank you,” He Tian tells him.
Mo frowns. “I didn’t do anything.”
He Tian keeps looking at his hand.
“Thank you for caring.”
Post Chapter 329. He Tian almost died. They have a few conversations brewing just beneath the surface. This just might be the push they needed.

Dick’s outfit was a modified and reinforced version of his costume when he’d performed, which was already rather bright, especially beside Batman. But combined with those wings, and it was a wonder Dick couldn’t be spotted through solid walls."
Dick starts to withdraw and Bruce has no idea why.
