Summary

Summary
Sabine left them in the dust, not sparing a single look back as she made her way to the small trail they’d paved out in their days at this location; If shin could tease her all week, Sabine would take this turn of submissiveness to her full advantage and get back at them, specifically for the dreams that had been not so subtly pushed her way when Shin knew Sabine was stuck in the crew quarters bunked under Ahsoka’s bed, and that Ahsoka seemed to always know.

Shin still looked angry, unhinged, but there was relief there as Sabine’s eyes widened and she reached out, trying to catch something that shouldn’t exist. Instead of falling through empty space, Sabine’s fingers touched something ethereal, a gossamer thread that shifted under her touch.
She felt something like finality brand into her heart and her eyes shot to Shin’s.
Shin was still watching, resignation and question in her eyes.
