  Summary

  Rodger is the city’s best (and most exhausted) detective; barely thriving from the lack of cases on his desk, the absence of cash in his wallet, and the struggles with getting his hot actor ex out of his head.
  However, when said ex crawls back to his doorstep with a case even the coldest detective can’t refuse, the two are back together after years apart tracking down Glisten’s heirloom diamond necklace. With their newfound proximity, can their relationship ever rebuild to where it was before? Or is it destined to crumble exactly how it did all those years ago?
