Dante turned around to call out to Trish but froze as he caught a small glimpse of purple in one of the adjacent rooms. The wall had obviously been collapsed by the seal’s blast, creating a new opening to the room.

Dante was more than familiar with alcohol to know what it felt like to be intoxicated. It was hard to actually get shit-faced drunk with his demonic blood but he had more than gotten there at the lowest points of his life.

Summary
Over the years, Dante had gotten quite good at ignoring what his demonic instincts were trying to tell him.
Dante knew it wasn’t the healthiest choice to ignore half of his biology, but the habit was hard to break after practicing it for over 20 years. He lost count of how many times Vergil gave him disapproving looks when he didn’t know something about their shared heritage.
