Shouta notices that Izuku is having a bad pain day so, of course, he helps his kid out in all the ways he can.~~~
"I'm not dumb, kid. C'mon, let me help." And this time he's rewarded by Izuku breathing in deeply once, twice, three times, before his eyes slip shut, entire body canting forwards to thump lightly into Shouta. His heartbeat is just a little bit too fast, strained, where Shouta's thumb just brushes his pulsepoint.
"...Please. Just with my shirt buttons."
"Course, kiddo."

The USJ attack is awful and traumatic, and it goes worse than anyone could have predicted.But then it happens again, and again, and again, with Izuku and Aizawa caught right in the bloody, cycling centre of it.

Regardless, he needs to think now. Because yesterday was a carbon copy of the day before, excluding a few little conversation changes like people asking if he was okay and then things that changed because of his own actions, but Aizawa-sensei still died and then he threw himself in front of Asui and died, and then everything went black and he woke up to his All Might alarm again and-
And Izuku doesn't know what to do.

They both move the few inches to squeeze their hands together then, feeling the bloodstains that aren't there right now, but, more than that, feeling the body heat-warmth and knowing that the other is alive, present, with them. Right now, for a few moments, they're okay.

Summary
It's an awful, stormy night on patrol, and Aizawa is about ready to go home to his Sunshine for some cuddles.Then he hears a tiny whimper, fragile and delicate, and knows that there's a child somewhere out here, lost or hurt or both, likely to need his help. It's not even a question that he'll try to find them.
He's wrong about part of that though: there's three of them. Gleaming, narrow eyes set into thin faces, dirty clothing and matted hair. Shivering. He doesn't even have to think twice before knowing that he'll be bringing home strays of a slightly different sort tonight.

Morgan’s not happy with letting him out in the field by himself, and so Spencer offers a solution: Derek can act as the client.
By the time they’re up against each other at the back of the club, it doesn’t feel like either of them are acting anymore.
