“Whether he was kind or not, that’s subjective, but every time I regained consciousness I was asked if I wanted to die. Every time I said no. So he kept trying to save my body, or what was left of it, until he wasn’t able anymore.”
“That doesn’t make it right,” he said. “What he did to you wasn’t right.”
John tilted his head at that, as his brain processed his wording. The LED on his temple turned from blue to yellow.
It wasn’t… right?
Or: John gets turned into an Android, losing his ability to experience emotions, or so he thinks. He, now, has to navigate his life and a complicated relationship full of unfinished business with Bucky Barnes.

Summary
