Summary
RED and BLU have been locked in a one sided battle for what feels like forever, BLU pulling out brand new tech and tactics every time RED finally starts to break their losing streak. Their latest match has been just another example of this, RED attacking for once in Dustbowl of all places. BLU has decided to field some brand new stationary turrets, behemoths of metal and bullets that can take one hell of a beating, and RED team has fought tooth and nail against them across 2 of the 3 stages of this damned place. Even outside of the new tech and tactics, Spy and Pyro can't help but feel something just isn't quite right, not just with the BLU team, but with the whole damn situation. Something their guts and Spy's years of espionage just can't let them ignore.
The first chapter is just a proof of concept really. A short little snippet to get the creative juices flowing and to see if I'm still as bad at writing as I used to be. I'm planning on posting some SFM stills as visualizers as well, although I'm not sure how good they'll be since I've never used SFM before. If you like this then expect a second, longer chapter in the near future.

Posting this as a test to see if anyone would be interested in seeing this fully fleshed out. Between going to work and trying to pay off my debt I'm not really gonna have a lot of time to really dedicate myself to anything more than one or two personal projects for awhile lol. This would be a very Witcher inspired story for sure, although not at all set in the universe of Witcher. If this piques your interest then let me know with a comment, that way ik its something other people would be invested in if i did start writing it seriously. I might end up writing it anyways lol, the playlist I'm listening to right now has me in a writing mood.

Belos has made many, many mistakes in his abnormally long lifetime. Some of them non consequential, Some of them life altering. Only once has Belos ever decided to try and correct one of his mistakes, stopping as suddenly as he started, the intruder inside his mind pulling back on the reigns and regaining control once more. Belos had all but forgotten about his attempt to correct something from his past. Almost. Now he had to fulfill a forgotten promise to a long dead man. All because of that annoying human.

This summary will 100% be changed. I'm still working on the plotline and a few other things for this fic but i decided to post this work with a teaser. The first chapter happens later in the story and is shortened from what it is later on.
