Luffy hummed again, finally stopping the assault but not letting them go.
Never again.“Guess I'm in the past.” He shrugged again.
“Past????” Bo squawked, staring at him.
Ace stopped his struggles to stare at him too.
“Yah. You're all tiny-” alive, together “-so, past.”
“Wait. Wait, just…wait.” Bo sputtered as Ace stayed staring.
He did.
“So you're… how old are you?”
“19.”

He stared at the child - who just stared back - as he waited for Eustass-ya to reach them, trying to decide on what to do. He reached an astounding total of zero options by the time he did, simply just stepping out of the way so he could see for himself.
“What's taking you fucks so lon…” he trailed off, halfway through brushing a leaf out of the way as he took in Luffy, tiny, and Law, standing off the side looking utterly lost.
“Huh? I thought that didn't happen afte-”
“He's seven years old.”
“....you what?”
“Mugiwara is seven years old.” He repeated, deadpan.
“I'm seven!!!!” Their fellow supernova confirmed, looking Eustass up and down and turning back to Law, pointing obnoxiously. “Who’s that?”
“Eustass Kidd.” He answered blankly, the man in question turning to him with a gaping mouth.
