Papyrus dies.
It's okay. After a hundred resets, Sans doesn't even care. He's barely able to feel anything anymore. But then there's another reset and something happens.

Summary
W.D Gaster prides himself on his scientific prowess, on his ability to please the King with his breakthrough knowledge and developments, but he also prides himself on his ability to think logically. After being tasked with a research project based around soul extraction in humans, Gaster finds the work load too heavy to be able to continue his own work. Asgore wants to break the barrier, to extract revenge on the humans for the suffering caused by them - but he’s foolish. With the resources being the Royal Scientist provides him, Gaster begins to tamper into the study of soul insertion in order to create the most exemplary being.
